LIVENESS DETECTION – FACIAL RECOGNTION

In this project, I build a Liveness detection for Facial recognition.

It’s important in security systems where there has to be high confidence, that the person being recognized, is an actual person before the camera.

Here is an example of 2 pictures.

1st is an authentic picture that has been taken with a camera.
2nd is a picture of a picture, therefore no real face is present.

This pictures will each be analyzed using Texture Analysis.

This system analyzes the texture of the skin to detect minute details and imperfections that are hard to replicate in photos or videos. This can involve looking at the reflectivity, translucency, and fine texture of the skin.
